MOU Signing for Composite Technology Centre, Singapore on 27th March 2013
Mr. Oei Han Tjing, the Exe VP was invited by the German Institute of Science and Technology – TUM Asia (TUM Asia), together with the Technical University of Munich (TUM), Singapore Polytechnic, Singapore Technologies Kinetics to sign a Memorandum of Understanding with 9 other local and international companies to promote composite technology and establish a Composite Technology Centre in Singapore.
The MOU signing ceremony in Singapore was witnessed by State Minister of the Bavarian State Ministry of Sciences, Dr. Wolfgang Heubisch, Singapore Senior Parliamentary Secretary, Ministry of Communications and Information & Ministry of Education, Ms. Sim Ann, the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Singapore and many other distinguished guests specially flown in to grace the occasion.
WApart from achieving advancement & development in the research and application of carbon-composites materials, the technology center also aims to improve awareness and education in the fiber composites sector. Above all, this unique collaboration will bring together all the established related companies and agencies under one roof and integrate all their expertise and resources to achieve further breakthrough in this specialized field.
